TRAINING

Every person ha​s to undergo equipment training before they can be permitted to use the machine. This is important for the safety of the user. Once training is done, Makerspace equipments can be utilized. You can check for training schedule below.

Machine equipment requires additional training to be used, regardless of your experience with other similar machines.

Please note that this is not a service workshop and users have to do the job work themselves. Makerspace promotes DIY culture and provides guidance to users in their respective projects. Also, any consumable material is to be arranged by users themselves.

You can register for a training on CRF Booking System.  Login at CRF Booking System and select Makerspace IITD as Facility Name.

For account creation on CRF, please select the supervisor Department name : Department of Design and Supervisor Name : Utkarsh Kumar Gupta, if you are a UG student who is creating a CRF account only to access the Makerspace. For other cases, please choose a supervisor from your department or academic unit only.
